# How to be a payer

Anyone can register to be a payer. A non-custodial wallet like [Metamask](broken://pages/1HHjCqQcbo2YJx6ShISN) is required for a payer in order to receive cryptos. 

Before qualified to receive fiat payment orders, you should [register](https://payer.bitshopee.com/register) an account and [set up](https://payer.bitshopee.com/profile) necessary information.

### **1.** Register **an account.**

Click [register](https://payer.bitshopee.com/register) to sign up an account.

### **2. Set up your account info.**

After registration, Click the upper right button in the payer workbench page to set your account info.

#### **① Complete personal information**

a. Set up your **basic information** (avatar, nickname, personal profile) to help buyers distinguish you from other payers.

b. Add your **contact information** so that we can reach you timely in case of order notification and emergency.

#### **② Add crypto wallet address.**

Add at least one wallet address for receiving cryptos. (ADD YOUR NON-CUSTODIAL WALLET ADDRESS, DO NOT ADD EXCHANGE HOT WALLET ADDRESS)

#### **③ Select the payment method.**

Fill in your UPI ID.

Select the e-commerce websites and payment method (e.g. PhonePE, UPI ID) you support.

#### **④ Set the exchange rate.**

**Choose at least one type of crypto** you accept by turning on the switch on the right side.

Freely **adjust the rate** on the "base rate"(current market exchange rate), **set the minimal and maximal amount limit of tokens received per order** and **maximal amount limit of tokens received per day**.

#### **⑤ Turn on notifications**

Turn on Bitshopee notifications for your browser and email so that you can receive Bitshopee's order notification in time.

### 3. Stay online status

After the above settings are completed, please **ensure that your "online" status button is turned on**, and keep your computer online and Bitshoppee web page open.

#### Now everything is all set, just sit back and wait for the orders.
