Quick start for Binance users

1. Creat a MetaMask wallet

If you've already got a MetaMask wallet, skip this step.

Visit to download and install their extension.

Once the MetaMask extension is installed, you will notice their Fox icon on your browser’s extension toolbar.

Then you will be automatically redirected to the MetaMask “Get started” page where you need to follow the instructions and complete the setup.

Click on the “Create a Wallet” button.

Read the instructions on the next page carefully, and remember not to share your MetaMask password, ever. Then click on "I agree".

Next, create your MetaMask wallet password.

Make sure not to save this password anywhere online, especially in your browser. Write this down on a piece of paper and store it somewhere safe.

Then on the next page, you will be introduced to the “Secret Recovery Phrase” video guide.

In any case you forgot your password, this Secret Recovery Phrase will be the only way you can access the cryptocurrencies you store in your MetaMask wallet. It is also the only way to recover your MetaMask wallet if you remove it from your browser or reset your device.

Click on the "Next" button to get your Seed Recovery Phrase.

Make sure to store your Seed Recovery Phrase on a piece of paper or somewhere safe, just like how you store your password.

On the next page, you need to confirm your secret recovery phrases by selecting each phrase in order to make sure it is correct.

Finally, you will see the congratulations message indicating everything went right, and you can start using your MetaMask wallet.

And the characters in the red box is exactly your MetaMask wallet address.

2. Configurate MetaMask Network

Click on the “Ethereum Mainnet” drop-down box on the top right

Then click on “Add Network”

You can choose one of the following blockchain networks.

① POLYGON

After adding the networks, this is how your MetaMask drop-down box should look like:

You can switch to any network EXCEPT “Ethereum Mainnet” to complete a transaction on Bitshopee.

3. Prepare the Crypto for Shopping

Tips: If you want to use Binance Smart Chain(BSC Mainnet),get BNB instead.

4. Withdrawal Crypto to your MetaMask wallet

Go to Binance homepage, click on “Wallet” then click “Fiat and Spot”.

Select MATIC(polygon) under assets list.

As mentioned above, the gas fee on Polygon network is negligible, so we highly recommend you to buy MATIC and use Polygon network.

Click on "Withdraw" button.

Paste your MetaMask wallet address into “Address” InputBox .

Cross-check the address carefully. If somehow the address is invalid, you will notice an error address format message.

Select Network MATIC and double-check it,IMPORTANT!

Enter the MATIC amount you want to transfer from your Binance account to MetaMask wallet.

Make sure all the details are correct once again.

Then click on “Withdrawal” Button to initiate the transfer.

That’s it! – You’ve successfully submitted withdrawal request

Waiting for the confirmations to 100%

Congratulations!!!– You’ve successfully transferred MATIC from your Binance account to MetaMask wallet.

5. Swap to USDT on MetaMask

Go back to MetaMask again, click on the Fox icon in your browser extension toolbar and then switch to the Polygon Mainnet Network.

You will see that your MATIC transfer from Binance has been received.

Currently Bitshopee supports USDT(Tether US) as payment method, we can swap MATIC to USDT required for consumption through the swap function of Metamask.

Click on “Swap” Button

On the next page，enter “USDT” in the Swap to InputBox.

Then enter the MATIC amount you want to swap

Next, click on “Review Swap” button and check the rate.

A negligible amount of MATIC will be deducted to pay the gas fee.

It's all done!!! You’ve successfully transferred MATIC from your Binance account to your MetaMask wallet.
